As a watercolor artist, my work reflects my fascination with fluidity, transparency, and luminosity. Through the interplay of water and pigment, I strive to capture the essence and delicate nuances of the natural world.
As an Electronics Engineer and a working mom based in the United States, my artistic journey has been a pursuit of passion and a means of creative expression. Although my professional career initially took precedence, my love for painting remained deeply ingrained. I began my artistic education at Rekha Chitram in Kolkata, India, during my school years, where I first discovered the joy of painting.
After moving to the United States with my family, I found solace and inspiration in the vibrant landscapes of Montana. Despite the demands of my engineering career and the responsibilities of motherhood, I yearned to reconnect with my artistic aspirations. During my precious recess hours, I immersed myself in watercolor painting, giving life to many heart-touching, realistic artworks.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to participate in various exhibitions and showcases, each contributing to my growth as an artist. These experiences have shaped my artistic vision and allowed me to refine my technique while providing opportunities for recognition and connection with diverse audiences.
Inspired by the beauty of landscapes, flora, and fauna, I seek to evoke a sense of serenity, harmony, and wonder in my watercolor paintings. Each brushstroke and wash of color is carefully applied, allowing the paint to flow and mingle on the paper, creating organic and unpredictable patterns that mirror the inherent beauty found in nature.
